Avtar + Streptomycin + Zinc (The Premium Paddy Protection Combo)
Product Description
This expert-recommended combination is a complete, broad-spectrum solution designed to tackle complex disease outbreaks in rice crops. As shown in InShot_20260629_162942785.jpg, it pairs a heavy-duty contact-plus-systemic fungicide (Avtar) with a highly potent systemic antibiotic (Tagmycin / Streptomycin) and an essential chelated micronutrient (Tag Zinc EDTA 12%).
It is the ultimate defense strategy for farmers facing aggressive fungal leaf blast, neck blast, and simultaneous bacterial leaf infections, ensuring your paddy field rebounds quickly with minimal yield loss.
How the Combo Works (The 3-Way Attack)
Avtar Fungicide (Hexaconazole 4% + Zineb 68% WP): A premium, double-action fungicide. The Hexaconazole component provides advanced systemic action, penetrating deep inside plant tissues to halt the growth of the blast fungus. The Zineb component forms a highly effective protective barrier on the leaf surface. Together, they target the classic spindle-shaped, brown-bordered lesions seen on the leaves in InShot_20260629_162942785.jpg.
Streptomycin / Tagmycin (Systemic Antibiotic): Contains Streptomycin Sulphate and Tetracycline Hydrochloride (90:10). It is fully systemic, moving throughout the plant's vascular network to eliminate bacterial cells. This effectively protects your crop from secondary bacterial infections like Bacterial Leaf Blight, which often strike when blast fungus weakens the plant tissues.
Tag Zinc (Chelated Zinc EDTA 12%): Severe disease attacks strip leaves of chlorophyll, causing a burnt, dried-up look (fire-blast). Chelated Zinc acts as a vital growth booster, triggering rapid chlorophyll synthesis, stimulating auxins, and building immunity to help the plant regenerate fresh, green canopy tissue.
Key Features & Benefits
Knockdown Control of Fungal Blast: Highly effective against Leaf Blast, Node Blast, and Neck Blast, stopping the disease before it can break the panicle necks.
Cross-Protection (Fungal + Bacterial): Eliminates guesswork in the field. This mix cures existing fungal infections while preventing destructive bacterial pathogens from taking over.
Zinc Nutrition Booster: Unlike standard chemical sprays that can cause mild phytotoxicity or shock to the plant, the inclusion of Zinc EDTA ensures the plant recovers its photosynthetic capacity immediately.
Superior Zineb Nutrition: Avtar inherently supplies the crop with beneficial Zinc and Sulfur ions, contributing extra greening effect and vigor to the paddy crop.
Recommended Dosage & Mixing Guidelines
For 1 Acre of Paddy crop, mix the following components in 200 Liters of clean water:
Avtar (Indofil): 400 to 500 grams
Tagmycin / Streptomycin: 24 to 30 grams (approx. 3 to 4 pouches of 6g/10g)
Tag Zinc EDTA 12%: 100 to 150 grams
Mixing Instructions:
Prepare a uniform paste of Avtar in a small bucket of water.
Completely dissolve Tagmycin and Tag Zinc in separate small quantities of water.
Fill your spray tank halfway with water, add the dissolved components one by one while stirring constantly, and top off the tank to the full 200-liter volume.
Best Application Practices
Application Window: Spray at the very first sign of eye-shaped or diamond-shaped lesions on the leaves, or during high-risk periods (cloudy weather, high humidity, or cool nights during the tillering and panicle initiation stages).
Nozzle Type: Use a hollow cone nozzle to create a fine mist, ensuring complete and thorough wetness of the entire paddy canopy from top to bottom.
Fertilizer Warning: During a heavy blast or bacterial infestation, temporarily halt any top-dressing of Urea (Nitrogen), as excess nitrogen softens plant cells, causing the disease to spread rapidly across the field.
