Adama Agas is a broad-spectrum, advanced insecticide and acaricide containing Diafenthiuron 50% WP (Wettable Powder) as its active ingredient. It features a unique mode of action belonging to the thiourea chemical group. Agas acts as a contact and stomach poison, effectively controlling tough-to-kill sucking pests and mites. Once applied, it converts into a carbodiimide derivative inside the insect, which inhibits cellular respiration and energy production, providing rapid knockdown and long-lasting control—even against pests resistant to conventional chemicals.

Best Time to Spray
Time of Day: Spray during the early morning or late afternoon. Avoid spraying during peak sunlight hours or high temperatures to maximize effectiveness and protect the crop from stress.
Weather Conditions: Apply when dry weather is expected for at least 4 to 6 hours after spraying to prevent wash-off.
Pest Threshold: Initiate application at the very early stages of pest or mite colonization rather than waiting for heavy populations to establish.
Safety Precautions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear protective gear, including rubber gloves, a face mask/respirator, protective eye goggles, and full-length clothing during preparation and spraying.
Handling Habits: Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew tobacco while mixing or applying the product. Avoid inhaling spray mist and prevent direct skin or eye contact.
Environmental Safety: Keep away from aquaculture and water bodies, as Diafenthiuron can be toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Avoid spraying during peak pollinator foraging hours.
Storage & Disposal: Store in the original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, children, and livestock feed. Safely triple-rinse and dispose of empty packaging according to local environmental guidelines.
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Strictly observe the prescribed waiting period between the final application and harvest to ensure consumable produce remains safe.
