Syngenta Alika is a highly potent, broad-spectrum combination insecticide engineered to tackle both sucking and chewing pests simultaneously. It is powered by a pre-mixed formulation of two strong active ingredients: Thiamethoxam (12.6%) and Lambda-cyhalothrin (9.5%) ZC.
Alika utilizes an advanced ZC formulation technology, which is an innovative mix of Capsule Suspension (CS) and Suspension Concentrate (SC). The micro-capsules ensure steady chemical release, exceptional rainfastness within 1 hour, and enhanced protection against UV degradation.

Dual-Lock Action: It targets the insect nervous system through two pathways:
Systemic Action (Thiamethoxam): Quickly absorbed by plant tissue and translocated upwards. When sucking pests ingest the plant sap, it disrupts their nerve receptors, leading to paralysis.
Contact & Ingestion Action (Lambda-cyhalothrin): Stays on the leaf surface to act like protective armor. Any crawling or chewing insect that hits the sprayed area experiences rapid "knockdown".

Knapsack Pump Guide: For standard spot treatment or small-scale spraying, mix 0.3 ml to 0.5 ml of Alika per 1 liter of water. This equates to roughly 6 ml to 7.5 ml per standard 15-liter pump.
Application Instructions & Safety Best Practices
Mixing: Shake the Alika bottle thoroughly before opening to ensure uniform distribution of the capsule suspension. Fill your spray tank halfway with water, blend the measured chemical, and top off with the remaining water volume.
Spraying Technique: Use a hollow cone nozzle to create a fine mist. Direct the spray to coat both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves thoroughly, as pests tend to colonize underneath.
