This powerful mix provides comprehensive systemic eradication of both fungal blast and overlapping bacterial pathogens while instantly reinforcing cell walls to heal the "burnt" leaf tissues.

How the Combination Works (Eradication + Structural Fortification)

  • Amistar Top (Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4% SC): A market-leading systemic fungicide with preventative, curative, and anti-sporulant properties. Azoxystrobin inhibits cellular respiration in the fungus, cutting off its energy supply, while Difenoconazole disrupts fungal cell membrane synthesis. Together, they rapidly dry up and eliminate the severe diamond-shaped, necrotic blast lesions visible on the leaves 

  • Streptomycin / Tagmycin (Systemic Antibicide): Contains Streptomycin Sulphate + Tetracycline Hydrochloride (90:10). Since fungal blast breaks down the leaf structure and creates open wounds, it leaves the crop highly vulnerable to secondary bacterial infections like Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB). Streptomycin moves systemically inside the vascular network to neutralize these bacterial pathogens before they can cause widespread wilting.

  • Basfoliar CabMag SL (Calcium + Magnesium Therapy): Fire-blast aggressively destroys leaf tissues and depletes chlorophyll. Calcium (Ca) is crucial for rebuilding and strengthening plant cell walls, increasing the crop's mechanical resistance to further pathogen penetration and lodging. Magnesium (Mg) is the core atom of chlorophyll; it instantly jumpstarts photosynthesis, rapidly reversing the "burnt," yellowed appearance of the field and restoring a healthy green canopy.

Recommended Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

For 1 Acre of Paddy crop, mix the following components in 200 Liters of clean water:

  • Syngenta Amistar Top: 200 ml

  • Tagmycin / Streptomycin: 40 grams (approx. 3 to 4 pouches of 6g/10g)

  • Basfoliar CabMag SL: 250 

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Fill your spray tank halfway with clean water.

  2. Dissolve the Tagmycin completely in a small container of water first, then pour it into the tank.

  3. Shake the Amistar Top bottle well, mix it with a small amount of water, and add it to the tank.

  4. Finally, pour in the liquid Basfoliar CabMag SL, stir the entire solution thoroughly, top off the tank to the full 200-liter volume, and spray.

Best Application Practices

  1. Application Timing: Apply at the very first sign of eye-shaped blast spots on the lower leaf canopy, or protectively at the late tillering stage, panicle initiation, or booting stage during humid, overcast, or rainy weather conditions.

  2. Foliar Coverage: Use a well-calibrated knapsack or power sprayer with a fine mist nozzle to ensure uniform coverage across the entire crop canopy, hitting both upper and lower leaf surfaces.

  3. Cultural Care: When a heavy blast or bacterial infection is actively spreading through your field, immediately stop all soil applications of granular Nitrogen/Urea. Excessive nitrogen keeps tissues soft and succulent, which fuels rapid disease multiplication.
