Tata Rallis Blitox is a classic, highly reliable protectant fungicide containing Copper Oxychloride 50% WP (Wettable Powder). It is widely used by farmers and horticulturists to prevent and control a wide range of fungal and bacterial plant diseases. Blitox forms a protective barrier on plant surfaces, releasing copper ions that effectively inhibit spore germination and destroy pathogen growth before infection can take hold.
Key Features & Benefits
Proven Protection: Effectively manages stubborn fungal diseases such as blight, downy mildew, leaf spots, and cankers.
Dual Action (Fungicide & Bactericide): Provides reliable defense against both fungal spores and bacterial plant pathogens.
Micronized Formulation: Ensures smooth suspension in water, uniform spray coverage, and excellent adherence to foliage.
Wide Crop Adaptability: Safe and effective for use across field crops, commercial plantations, vegetables, and fruit orchards.
Crop-Wise Dosage Table
Crop Category | Target Diseases | Recommended Dosage per Acre |
Vegetables (Potato, Tomato, Chili, Brinjal) | Early Blight, Late Blight, Leaf Spot, Bacterial Wilt | 500 - 750 grams (or 2.5 - 3 g per Liter of water) |
Fruits & Horticulture (Grapes, Apple, Citrus, Pomegranate) | Downy Mildew, Canker, Scab, Anthracnose | 750 - 1000 grams (or 3 g per Liter of water) |
Commercial Crops (Cotton, Paddy, Coffee, Tea) | Black Rot, Leaf Rust, Blight | 500 - 750 grams |
Betel Vine & Spice Crops | Foot Rot, Leaf Spot | 500 grams |
Application Tip: Pre-mix the required quantity of Blitox WP in a small volume of water to form a smooth paste, then pour it into the main spray tank filled with the required quantity of water. Stir well to maintain a uniform suspension during spraying.
Best Time to Spray
Time of Day: Apply during the early morning hours or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler. Avoid spraying during intense midday heat or bright, direct sunlight.
Preventive Approach: Blitox works best as a protectant. Spray before the onset of disease symptoms or immediately when weather conditions (high humidity, frequent rains) favor disease development.
Weather Windows: Spray only when foliage is dry and rain is not forecast for at least 4 to 6 hours to ensure proper adherence and efficacy.
Safety Precautions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, boots, eye protection, and a face mask or respirator while mixing and spraying.
Handling Safety: Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew tobacco during application. Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and clean water after completion.
Environmental Care: Copper-based fungicides can be toxic to aquatic life and beneficial organisms. Prevent spray drift and runoff from contaminating ponds, streams, or water bodies.
Storage & Disposal: Store the product in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space away from children, livestock, food, and feed. Safely crush and dispose of empty packaging according to local guidelines.
