Tata Rallis Boris Super is a pre-mix insecticide-cum-miticide formulated as Pyriproxyfen 8% + Diafenthiuron 30% SE (Suspo-Emulsion). It combines an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) with a broad-spectrum contact/translaminar compound, providing complete, multi-stage control over resistant sap-sucking pests—especially whiteflies, mites, and thrips—across all life stages (eggs, nymphs, and adults).
Technical Profile & Dual Mode of Action
Active Ingredients: Pyriproxyfen 8% + Diafenthiuron 30% SE.
Formulation: Suspo-Emulsion (SE)—a blend of suspension and emulsion technologies delivering enhanced leaf adhesion, uniform coverage, and superior rainfastness.
Pyriproxyfen (8%): A Juvenile Hormone Mimic (IRAC Group 7C). It acts as an IGR that inhibits embryogenesis, suppresses metamorphosis from nymph to adult, and sterilizes adult females, preventing egg hatching and breaking the reproductive cycle.
Diafenthiuron (30%): A Thiourea derivative (IRAC Group 12A). Upon exposure to sunlight, it converts into a carbodiimide derivative that inhibits mitochondrial ATP synthase. This deprives the insect of cellular energy, causing swift paralysis and mortality of active nymphs and adults through contact, translaminar, and slight vapor action.
Cross-Spectrum Efficacy: Simultaneously eradicates stubborn sucking insect complexes (whiteflies, jassids, thrips) and phytophagous mites (red spider mites, two-spotted mites).

Optimal Spray Timing
Infestation Onset: Apply at the initial appearance of whitefly adults, nymphs, or mite webbing. Because it breaks the reproductive cycle, early intervention prevents explosive late-season population surges.
Sunlight Activation: Unlike organophosphates or pyrethroids that degrade quickly in heat, Diafenthiuron requires moderate sunlight/photochemical conversion for optimal toxicity. Spray in the morning after dew evaporates (8:00 AM – 10:30 AM) or in the late afternoon (after 3:30 PM) on clear days.
Under-Leaf Canopy Coverage: Whitefly nymphs and mites live almost entirely on the undersides of leaves. Use a high-pressure knapsack sprayer with a hollow-cone nozzle angled upward to thoroughly saturate lower foliage surfaces.
