₹250.00

Dhanuka M-45 is one of the most trusted and widely used broad-spectrum, contact fungicides in agriculture. Containing Mancozeb 75% WP, it is often referred to as a "protectant" because it forms a defensive barrier on the plant surface, preventing fungal spores from germinating.

## Technical Overview & Mode of Action

  • Technical Name: Mancozeb 75% WP (Wettable Powder).

  • Mode of Action: It is a non-systemic, contact fungicide with multi-site activity. It disrupts the enzyme functions and respiration process of fungi. Because it attacks multiple sites in the fungal cell, the risk of pests developing resistance to M-45 is extremely low.

  • Nutritional Boost: Beyond protection, M-45 provides trace amounts of Manganese (Mn) and Zinc (Zn), which helps keep the foliage green and improves overall plant health.

## Key Features & Benefits

  • Broad-Spectrum: Effective against a massive range of fungal diseases (blights, rusts, mildews, and spots).

  • Resistance Management: Excellent for rotating with systemic fungicides to prevent the build-up of chemical resistance in fungi.

  • Rain Adherence: Known for its good sticking properties, ensuring the protective layer remains on the leaves even after light rain.

  • Versatile Application: Can be used as a foliar spray, for seed treatment (3g per kg of seed), and for nursery drenching.

## Application Tips

  1. Preventive Timing: For maximum efficacy, apply M-45 before the disease appears or at the very first sign of infection.

  2. Coverage: Ensure uniform spraying so that both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves are covered.

  3. Water Volume: Mix the recommended dose in 200–250 liters of water per acre.

  4. Compatibility: It is generally compatible with most commonly used insecticides and other fungicides, but always perform a "jar test" before mixing large quantities.

Note: Although it is often searched for alongside insecticides, remember that M-45 is a fungicide specifically designed to kill fungal pathogens, not insects.
