Adama Lamdex is a non-systemic, photostable, third-generation synthetic pyrethroid insecticide formulated with Lambda-cyhalothrin (available in standard EC or high-performance Super variants). It features strong contact, stomach, and repellent actions, providing an immediate knockdown of target insects alongside long-lasting residual protection for diverse cropping systems.
Active Ingredient & Mode of Action
Lambda-cyhalothrin: Interferes with the normal functioning of the insect nervous system by modifying sodium ion flow, resulting in rapid paralysis, cessation of feeding, and eventual mortality.
Dual Action: Works through both direct contact and ingestion, making it highly effective against a broad spectrum of chewing and sucking agricultural pests.
Crop-Wise Uses and Dosage
Lamdex is widely registered for use across commercial row crops, vegetables, pulse crops, and horticultural fruits.

Best Time to Spray
Pest Threshold: Apply at the very first sign of pest appearance or when monitoring indicates that local economic threshold levels (ETL) have been crossed.
Time of Day: Spray during the early morning or late afternoon when ambient temperatures are cooler. Avoid spraying under intense midday heat or high winds.
Pollinator Protection: Avoid application during peak bloom periods when bees and other beneficial pollinators are actively foraging.
Safety Precautions
Safety First: Pyrethroid compounds require careful handling to safeguard personal health and prevent environmental damage.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, a face mask/respirator, and full-body clothing while mixing and applying the spray.
Handling Hygiene: Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product. Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after application.
Environmental Protection: Lambda-cyhalothrin is toxic to fish and aquatic life. Prevent spray drift or wash water from contaminating nearby ponds, streams, or drainage ditches.
