How the Combination Works (Eradication + Cellular Nutrition)

  • Nativo Systemic Fungicide (Tebuconazole 50% + Trifloxystrobin 25% WG): The gold standard in fungal control. Trifloxystrobin locks onto the outer plant tissue to stop fungal expansion, while Tebuconazole rapidly penetrates deep into the leaf sheaths to disrupt fungal cell walls. It aggressively dries up the characteristic greenish-gray, "snake-skin" sheath blight lesions before they can reach the flag leaf.

  • Plantomycin (Systemic Antibiotic): Formulated with Streptomycin Sulfate (9%) + Tetracycline Hydrochloride (1%). Because sheath blight attacks the dense lower canopy and rots the plant's outer layer, it creates open wounds that act as primary entry points for secondary bacterial diseases like Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB). Plantomycin moves systemically inside the vascular network to neutralize these bacterial threats from within.

  • Nano DAP (Liquid Nitrogen 8% & Phosphorus 16%): Nano DAP features ultra-small particles that penetrate directly through the plant's stomata. Unlike bulky granular fertilizers, the nano-scale Phosphorus (P) directly fuels root development and strengthens the lower stem (culm) structure, while the controlled Nitrogen (N) gives the disease-stressed crop immediate energy to regenerate and maintain healthy tillers without triggering vegetative overgrowth.

Recommended Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

For 1 Acre of Paddy crop, mix the following in 200 Liters of clean water:

  • Bayer Nativo: 80 to 100 grams

  • Plantomycin: 24 to 30 grams (typically 3 to 4 pouches of 6g/10g)

  • Nano DAP (Liquid): 250 to 500 ml (approx. 2 to 4 capfuls depending on crop stage)

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Completely dissolve the granules of Nativo in a small bucket of water.

  2. In a separate small container, dissolve the Plantomycin pouches thoroughly.

  3. Fill your main spray tank halfway with clean water, add the dissolved Plantomycin solution, followed by the Nativo solution.

  4. Shake the Nano DAP bottle vigorously, measure out the required dose, and add it last to the tank. Stir the entire mix thoroughly, top off with water to 200 liters, and spray immediately.

Best Application Practices

  1. Application Timing: Apply at the first appearance of water-soaked, irregular spots on leaf sheaths near the water level line (typically during the maximum tillering, panicle initiation, or booting stages).

  2. Targeted Foliar Spray: Ensure the spray mist penetrates deep into the lower, dense sections of the paddy canopy where humidity is highest and sheath blight thrives.

  3. Cultural Nitrogen Rule: While the nano-nitrogen in Nano DAP is safe and targeted, you should immediately stop any scheduled soil application of traditional granular Urea while sheath blight is actively spreading, as excess soil nitrogen makes plant tissues too soft and accelerates fungal growth.
