Dhanuka Nissodium is a highly specialized, next-generation systemic fungicide designed to provide exceptional control over Powdery Mildew. Containing Cyflufenamid 5% EW, it belongs to the amidoxime group of chemicals and is known for its high efficacy even at low concentrations.
## Technical Overview & Mode of Action
Technical Name: Cyflufenamid 5% EW (Emulsion, Oil in Water).
Mode of Action: Nissodium offers a unique preventive and curative action. It inhibits the development of haustoria (the feeding structures of fungi) and the formation of spores.
Vapor Action & Translaminar Activity: Once applied, the fungicide moves through the leaf tissue and also releases a "vapor phase" that spreads across the plant canopy. This ensures that even unsprayed parts of the plant and the undersides of leaves are protected.
## Target Crops & Disease Control
Nissodium is the "gold standard" for managing Powdery Mildew in high-value horticulture and fruit crops.
Crop | Target Disease | Dosage (Per Acre) |
|---|---|---|
Grapes | Powdery Mildew | 200 ml |
Chilli | Powdery Mildew | 200 ml |
Cucurbits (Melons, Cucumber) | Powdery Mildew | 200 ml |
Okra (Bhendi) | Powdery Mildew | 200 ml |
Apple | Powdery Mildew | 0.05% (50 ml per 100L water) |

## Key Features & Benefits
Highly Effective at Low Doses: Unlike traditional fungicides, Nissodium provides superior control with a much smaller quantity of active ingredient.
Long-Lasting Protection: It offers a long residual effect, meaning fewer sprays are required throughout the crop cycle.
Superior Vapor Action: Its ability to spread via vapor makes it extremely effective in dense crops where thorough spray coverage is difficult to achieve.
Rainfastness: It is quickly absorbed by the plant, making it resistant to being washed away by rain shortly after application.
Crop Safety: It is safe for the environment and has a favorable profile for beneficial insects when used as directed.
## Application Guidelines
Best Timing: For the most effective results, apply Nissodium at the pre-infection stage or as soon as the first white powdery spots appear on the leaves.
Mixing: Shake the bottle well before use. Mix the recommended 200 ml in 200 liters of water per acre.
Rotation: To manage resistance, it is recommended to rotate Nissodium with fungicides from different chemical groups.
Safety Precaution: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the person spraying uses protective gear, including a mask and gloves, to avoid skin contact or inhalation.
