Adama Plethora is a high-performance, broad-spectrum insecticide formulated as a Suspension Concentrate (SC). It combines two powerful active ingredients with unique, complementary modes of action: Novaluron (an Insect Growth Regulator that disrupts chitin synthesis and prevents molting) and Indoxacarb (an oxadiazine insecticide that blocks sodium ion channels in the insect's nervous system, causing paralysis and death).

This dual-action formula targets eggs, larvae, and actively feeding caterpillars. It provides excellent knockdown power while effectively breaking the lifecycle of hard-to-control lepidopteran pests across multiple crops.

Key Features & Benefits

  •    Dual Mode of Action: Combines insect growth regulation with nerve disruption, providing both immediate knockdown and long-lasting control of developing larvae.

  •   Ovicidal & Larvicidal Activity: Kills pest eggs upon contact and halts the growth of newly hatched larvae before they can damage crops.

  •  Rainfast & Persistent: Adheres well to plant surfaces, offering stable residual protection even under varying weather conditions.

Recommended Application / Timing

Commercial Crops

(e.g., Cotton, Soybean, Pigeon Pea/Red Gram)

American Bollworm, Spodoptera (Armyworm), Semiloopers, Pod Borers

350 – 400 ml per acre

Spray when larvae are at early instars (small caterpillars) and pest incidence crosses the economic threshold level (ETL).

Vegetable Crops

(e.g., Chilli, Tomato, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brinjal)

Fruit Borers, Diamondback Moth (DBM), Tobacco Caterpillar

300 – 350 ml per acre (or 1.5 to 2 ml per liter of water)

Ensure thorough coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Repeat after 10–12 days if re-infestation occurs.

Fruits & Horticulture Crops

(e.g., Pomegranate, Mango, Citrus, Guava)

Fruit Borers, Leaf-Eaters, Bark-Eating Caterpillars

2 to 2.5 ml per liter of water (approx. 350–400 ml per acre)

Use high-volume spray equipment to penetrate the canopy and target feeding larvae directly.

Good Time to Spray

  • Target Early Stages: Best applied when caterpillars are small (early instars). Larger, mature caterpillars are harder to control.

  •     Time of Day: Spray during the early morning or late afternoon to avoid intense midday sunlight and heat, ensuring better product performance.

  •    Weather Conditions: Apply when dry weather is expected for at least 4 to 6 hours to allow the spray to dry and settle on the foliage. Use 150 to 200 liters of water per acre for uniform coverage.

Safety & Usage Precautions

  1.    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear chemical-resistant gloves, a face mask, protective clothing, and eye protection during mixing and spraying.

2.     Avoid Exposure: Do not inhale the spray mist, and prevent direct contact with skin and eyes. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after application.

3.     No Consumption During Work: Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or spraying the product.

4.     Safe Storage & Disposal: Store the container tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from children, food products, and animal feed. Triple-rinse and safely dispose of empty bottles according to local guidelines.
