Tata Rallis Ralligold GR is a premium, granular mycorrhizal bio-fertilizer formulated with vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizae (VAM / Endomycorrhiza) enriched on an organic carrier substrate.
Upon application to moist soil, the fungal spores germinate and colonize plant roots, creating an extensive secondary root network (hyphal network). This symbiotic association delivers several physiological benefits:
Phosphorus & Micronutrient Mobilization: Solubilizes and absorbs immobile nutrients—primarily Phosphorus (P), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe), and Copper (Cu)—and channels them directly to the plant.
Extended Root Architecture: Expands root surface area by 100 to 1000 times, improving deep-soil moisture scavenging and drought tolerance.
Soil Health & Stress Tolerance: Enhances soil structure, biological activity, and root resistance against soil-borne pathogens and abiotic stresses (salinity and heat).
Important Application Note: Soil Application vs. Spraying
Because Ralligold GR is a soil-applied granule, it is not designed for foliar spraying. Folliar sprays cannot colonize roots and will clog sprayer nozzles. It must be applied directly to the soil, placed near active root zones, or incorporated during land preparation.
Crop Usage & Recommended Dosage
Crop Category | Key Crops | Benefits | Dosage per Acre | Application Method |
Commercial / Cash Crops | Cotton, Sugarcane, Tea, Coffee, Tobacco | Robust taproot development, improved drought resistance, sturdy stalk vigor | 4 kg / acre | Broadcast at basal stage or top-dress near the root zone with first fertilizer split |
Field & Pulse Crops | Paddy (Rice), Maize, Soybean, Groundnut, Wheat, Tur (Pigeonpea) | Early root anchorage, higher tillering, better pod filling, enhanced nodulation | 4 kg / acre | Mix with basal fertilizer / sand during transplanting or 10–20 days after sowing |
Vegetable Crops | Chilli, Tomato, Brinjal, Okra, Onion, Cabbage, Gourds | Quick recovery from transplant shock, deep feeder roots, uniform flowering | 4 kg / acre | Band placement along planting beds or side-dressing near roots during earthing-up |
Fruit & Horticulture Crops | Pomegranate, Mango, Citrus, Grapes, Banana, Papaya | Extended lateral root reach, enhanced fruit size, reduced nutrient deficiency drop | 50 – 100 g / plant (or 4 – 8 kg / acre) | Ring placement around the active root drip-line under the tree canopy |
Best Time and Conditions for Application
Crop Stage: Apply early in the crop cycle—either as a basal application at the time of sowing/transplanting or within 15 to 30 days after emergence. Early inoculation allows mycorrhizal colonies to establish alongside root growth.
Soil Moisture: Always apply in sufficiently moist soil or irrigate the field immediately after application. Mycorrhizal spores need moisture to germinate and penetrate root hairs.
Daily Timing: Apply during early morning or late afternoon to avoid leaving exposed granules under scorching midday sun.
Placement Depth: Incorporate into the top 2 to 4 inches of soil or cover lightly with soil. Keep it close to active feeding roots rather than sitting exposed on bare, dry soil surfaces.
Safety Precautions & Compatibility Guidelines
Fungicide Incompatibility (Critical): Do NOT tank-mix or co-apply with chemical soil fungicides (such as Carbendazim, Hexaconazole, Metalaxyl, or Copper Oxychloride). Chemical fungicides can kill the live mycorrhizal fungi. Maintain a gap of at least 10 to 15 days between chemical soil fungicide drenching and Ralligold GR application.
Chemical Fertilizer Mixing: Can be mixed with dry granular fertilizers (Urea, DAP, SSP, Potash) or well-rotted Farm Yard Manure (FYM)/compost, provided it is broadcast immediately after mixing without extended storage.
Biocontrol Compatibility: Compatible with bio-agents such as Trichoderma, Pseudomonas fluorescens, and Azotobacter.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Keep packages tightly sealed until ready for use to protect spore viability.
