Tata Rallis Reeva 5 EC is a concentrated, high-performance synthetic pyrethroid insecticide containing Lambda-Cyhalothrin 5% EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate). Designed for rapid knockdown and long-lasting residual protection, Reeva 5 EC acts through contact and stomach action, disrupting the nervous system of target insect pests. It provides exceptional control over a wide spectrum of chewing, boring, and sucking insects across diverse agricultural and horticultural systems.
Key Features & Benefits
High-Concentration Formula: Delivers potent knockdown power at lower application volumes for efficient pest management.
Dual Action: Acts via contact and ingestion to quickly immobilize pests and halt crop damage.
Broad-Spectrum Efficacy: Highly effective against bollworms, fruit borers, thrips, jassids, aphids, ad leafhoppers.
Rainfastness: Rapidly binds to plant cuticles, maintaining its protective activity even after minor exposure to light post-spray conditions.

Application Tip: Since Reeva 5 EC is a concentrated formulation (5% EC), measure accurately. Mix the required quantity thoroughly in a small volume of clean water, then pour it into the main spray tank filled with the recommended water volume (typically 200 Liters per acre). Ensure uniform foliar coverage over the entire crop canopy.
Best Time to Spray
Time of Day: Spray during the cool hours of the early morning (before 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM). Avoid application during intense midday sun or high ambient temperatures.
Timing Strategy: Apply at the very first sign of pest infestation or when economic threshold levels (ETL) are reached. Do not wait for heavy, established infestations to take hold.
Weather Conditions: Apply only when crop foliage is dry and rain is not forecast for at least 4 to 6 hours to ensure proper adherence and absorption.
Safety Precautions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear full protective clothing, rubber gloves, rubber boots, eye goggles, and a face mask or respirator while handling and spraying the chemical.
Handling Rules: Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew tobacco during mixing and application. Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and clean water immediately after completing the work.
Environmental Protection: This product is toxic to fish, aquatic life, and honeybees. Avoid spray drift onto non-target flowering crops and prevent runoff from contaminating local ponds, streams, or irrigation canals.
Storage & Disposal: Store the product securely in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space away from children, livestock, food, and animal feed. Safely crush and bury empty containers deep in the soil away from water sources.
