Tata Rallis Sedna is a broad-spectrum, contact miticide and acaricide containing Fenpyroximate 5% SC (Suspension Concentrate). It belongs to the METI (Mitochondrial Electron Transport Inhibitor) chemical class, specifically inhibiting complex-I in the respiratory chain of mites, causing rapid knockdown and cessation of feeding.
It provides quick knockdown across multiple mite life stages (larvae, nymphs, and adults) along with significant anti-ovipositional activity, preventing females from laying viable eggs.

Best Time and Conditions to Spray
Infestation Threshold: Spray at the very first sighting of mite activity (typically when 2–4 mites per leaf are observed), before severe webbing or leaf curling begins.
Time of Day: Apply during early morning or late evening hours. Avoid spraying during peak afternoon heat or high winds to reduce drift and evaporation.
Canopy Coverage: Mites colonize and feed on the undersides of leaves. Use a hollow-cone nozzle and ensure thorough wetting of the lower leaf surfaces.
Rainfastness: Fenpyroximate SC adheres well once dried; allow at least 2–3 hours of dry conditions post-application for optimal absorption and rainfastness.
Key Safety Precautions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear chemical-resistant gloves, a face shield or mask, safety goggles, and full-coverage protective clothing while mixing and applying.
Mixing & Handling: Shake the bottle well before measuring. Do not inhale spray mist or let the concentrate contact skin or eyes.
Honeybees & Beneficials: Avoid spraying during active bloom or peak pollinator foraging periods to minimize direct contact with non-target pollinators.
Aquatic Safety: Highly toxic to fish and aquatic life. Do not apply near water bodies, ponds, or drainage channels; dispose of rinse water away from water sources.
Storage & Disposal: Store in the original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, food, and animal feed. Triple-rinse empty containers, puncture them, and dispose of them through authorized agricultural waste streams—never reuse them.
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Follow the local label recommendations for harvest waiting periods (typically 7–14 days depending on the specific crop).
