Syngenta TILT + Streptomycin + NPK 11-00-37.

Fire Blast Paddy

This specialized, three-in-1 combination is engineered for high-intensity management of overlapping fungal and bacterial complexes in paddy crops. It pairs Syngenta’s premium systemic triazole fungicide, Tilt, with a fast-acting systemic antibiotic (Streptomycin) and a high-potassium water-soluble foliar fertilizer (NPK 11-00-37).

This combination serves a dual purpose: it aggressively halts cellular pathogen multiplication internally while providing a heavy dose of Potassium ($K$) to reinforce plant cell walls, prevent lodging, and maximize grain filling despite disease stress.

How the Combination Works (Eradication + Structural Recovery)

  • Syngenta TILT (Propiconazole 25% EC): A highly systemic, broad-spectrum fungicide. Once sprayed, it is rapidly absorbed by the foliage and moves upward through the plant tissue. It acts as an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor, stopping the growth of the blast fungus (Pyricularia oryzae) internally before it can cause permanent lesions or break the panicle necks.

  • Streptomycin (Systemic Antibiotic): Effectively eliminates bacterial cells inside the plant's vascular network. Because fungal blast wounds the plant leaves, it creates perfect entry points for destructive bacterial pathogens like Bacterial Leaf Blight ($BLB$). Streptomycin provides systemic cross-protection against these secondary bacterial infections.

  • NPK 11-00-37 (High-Potassium Foliar Fertilizer): Severe disease gives the crop a dried, burnt, "fire-blast" look. This customized water-soluble fertilizer drops the nitrogen load to an absolute minimum (11%) while supplying a massive dose of Potassium (37%) and essential micronutrients. Potassium instantly thickens outer plant cell walls, boosts water-use efficiency, builds natural disease resistance, and ensures optimal carbohydrate transport to developing grains.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Total Blast & Blight Knockdown: Provides preventative, curative, and eruptive control against Leaf Blast, Sheath Blight, and complex bacterial leaf streaks.

  • Cellular Tissue Hardening: The high Potassium ratio (37%) physically hardens leaf surfaces, making it substantially more difficult for fungal hyphae or bacteria to penetrate healthy tissue.

  • Rapid Rainfastness: Syngenta Tilt features advanced formulation chemistry that penetrates leaves quickly, rendering it highly rainfast and dependable during humid, rainy seasons.

  • Prevents Grain Chaffiness: By protecting the flag leaf and driving potassium nutrition, this combination maximizes grain weight, minimizes empty panicles, and enhances grain brightness.

Recommended Dosage & Mixing Guidelines

For 1 Acre of Paddy crop, mix the following in 200 Liters of clean water:

  • Syngenta TILT (Propiconazole 25% EC): 200 ml

  • Streptomycin Sulfate (+ Tetracycline): 24 to 30 grams (typically 3 to 4 pouches of 6g/10g)

  • NPK 11-00-37 Water Soluble Fertilizer: 1 kg

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Completely dissolve the NPK 11-00-37 powder in a bucket of clean water.

  2. Dissolve the Streptomycin pouches in a separate small container of water.

  3. Fill the spray tank halfway with water, add the dissolved NPK solution, followed by the dissolved Streptomycin.

  4. Finally, pour in the liquid Syngenta Tilt, stir the entire solution thoroughly, top off the tank to 200 liters, and spray.

Best Application Practices

  1. Application Timing: Spray protectively during peak vulnerability windows—specifically at the late tillering phase, panicle initiation, or the booting stage when weather conditions are cool, humid, and overcast.

  2. Nitrogen Warning: If "fire-blast" or leaf drying is actively spreading, stop all soil applications of granular Nitrogen/Urea immediately. Excess nitrogen creates soft, succulent leaf tissues that allow diseases to multiply exponentially.

  3. Foliar Coverage: Use a mist spray to blanket the crop canopy uniformly, ensuring both upper and lower leaf surfaces are treated.
