Adama Trassid is an advanced, high-performance broad-spectrum insecticide formulated with Diafenthiuron 40% + Spinetoram 5% w/w SC (Suspension Concentrate). It is engineered to provide powerful knockdown and extended residual control against stubborn sucking and chewing pests. With its dual-active formulation, it delivers exceptional rain-fastness and acts as an effective resistance-management tool for farmers.

Active Ingredients & Mode of Action

  • Diafenthiuron (40%): Acts via contact and stomach action, inhibiting cellular respiration within the pest. It is highly effective against whiteflies and mites, shutting down their energy production.

  • Spinetoram (5%): A naturally derived (spinosyn class) ingredient that features strong                      translaminar movement. It attacks the nervous system of target pests (affecting nAChR and GABA     receptors), causing rapid feeding cessation, paralysis, and death.

  • Translaminar & Rain-Fast Action: Penetrates leaf tissues to manage pests hiding on the                        undersides of leaves and resists being easily washed away by rain

Crop-Wise Uses and Dosage

Adama Trassid is primarily registered and heavily utilized for key commercial and vegetable crops prone to heavy sucking pest infestations (such as whiteflies and thrips).

Best Time to Spray

  • Pest Threshold: Apply at the very first sign of pest infestation (such as early whitefly colonies or initial thrips damage) to prevent population buildup and viral vector transmission.

  • Time of Day: Spray during the early morning or late evening. Avoid spraying during peak sunlight or high temperatures.

  • Important Environmental Note: Because it contains Spinetoram, avoid spraying when bees are actively foraging to protect beneficial pollinators.

Safety Precautions

Safety First: Always use standard safety gear to protect yourself and the environment when handling mixed-formulation insecticides.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear chemical-resistant gloves, eye goggles, a face mask/respirator, and full protective clothing during preparation and application.

  • Handling Hygiene: Do not eat, drink, or smoke while mixing or spraying. Wash your hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water immediately afterward.

  • Drift & Environmental Protection: Avoid application near open water bodies or aquaculture zones to prevent aquatic toxicity. Prevent spray drift onto non-target crops.

  • Storage: Store the product tightly sealed in its original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space, entirely away from food, animal feed, and children.
